Exciting News!

Good Afternoon,

I have some exciting news that I can finally share with you, its been painful keeping it quiet.  I have been lucky enough to be chosen to be part of the CASology Design Team.  It came as a huge surprise and I am so honoured to be joining such a talented bunch of ladies each week to provide inspiration to everybody that joins in with the Cue Cards.  Also a big thank you to Melissa for giving me this wonderful opportunity.

My first card for the Design Team will be next week, so I hope you all manage to join in.

Less Is More Week Week 125

Good Evening,

Over at Less Is More, it was Jen's birthday, so our challenge this week was to create a card that Jen would like. Before I share my card I would just like to wish Jen a Happy Belated Birthday and hope that she is fab time on holiday!

Anyway, onto my card, I think the layout of the card, is similar to Jen's style so that is why I went for this, however the images I used just because I thought they are perfect for a birthday.

All the stamps for this card where from Avery Elle's Party Animal.

I never managed to get any crafting done at the weekend, so off now to have a catch up with what is happening in blogland.

Muse #22

Good Afternoon,

It's been a couple of weeks since I joined in with the Muse Challenge and even when I seen the fabulous Muse card from Marion Vagg, nothing instantly sprung to mind.  But I persevered with playing about with ideas until I can up with something that I liked.

CASology - Fish

Good Evening,

Before I share tonights card, I would like to apologise for my absence from the Blog World this week.  I had some very very minor surgery on my arm at the end of last week and it has been a lot more painful than I expected and just didn't feel like crafting at all.  But today it has been much better so there was no keeping me away from my desk.

Anyway onto today's card which is for this week's CASology challenge and the Cue Word this week is 'Fish'.  Hmmmmm a tricky one for me as I own no Fish stamps so I got inventive and created a card which I hope represents fish scales.

Hexagons

Good Morning,

I have managed to make a card that combines threee challenges, don't you just love it when that happens!  The challenge this week at Less Is More is Hexagons and I have used the colours from Annabelle Stamps Blog Challenge.  And since I have used the stamp set from Clearly Besotted I am also entering it into their Anything Goes challenge.  Not bad for a mornings work!

Yellow

Evening All,

Back tonight with my card for this weeks CASology challenge and the Cue Card word is 'Yellow'.  Another week where the Design Team have had me puzzling over ideas in my head for a couple of hours before my mojo kicks in with an idea.  Isn't it strange how sometimes ideas jump straight into your head and others take hours to come to fruition. Anyway here is the card that I finally thought of.

More Wheels

Good Morning,

This week's challenge at Less Is More had me a bit stumped! Chrissie and Jen have asked us to make a one layer card with the theme of 'Need For Speed'.  Being a bit late to the party this week most of the ideas I was going to use were already gone! So I tried to make a card in the style of Ardyth Percy-Robb using the colour of traffic lights, but I just didn't like the end result. (lesson learned - leave these cards to the experts) So I went back to my transport stamps and made a card featuring a bike, which is there is a lot of in the gallery this week.

I finally managed to find some time for some crafting this evening, its been one of those week's where time has just disappeared from me! And by luck my latest order from Avery Elle arrived this morning, so I managed to have a play with my new goodies.

Front Door

Good Morning,

Before I share my card for this week's Less Is More challenge I would like to thanks Chrissie and Jen for ShowCASing my Dog card.  Less is More is the first challenge I entered when I started blogging so if one of my cards is chosen from so many wonderful entries it just makes my day.

Now onto this week's challenge, Chrissie and Jen have asked us to create a card using the colours of our front doors.  Ours is just plain white, but the letter box is gold so I have incorporated that into my card.
