Winter Wonderland - Monochromatic

Good Afternoon,

Quickly nipping in with my card for this weeks challenge over at Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog before it closes.  This week the challenge is Monochromatic, I hummed and heyed a little over which colour to use, in the end I found this Snowman stamp which I hadn't used yet, so that made my decision for me.

Supplies Used:
Stampin Up - Frosty Friends
ProMarkers
West Design - Ultra Fine Glitter
Memory Box - Crystalline Border
Stampin Up - Bakers Twine - White
Pink Petticoat - Sentiment
Glossy Accents

Wow, that is quite some list for me, a bit more detailed than my usual CAS style, but with it being a Christmas card I quite like to add a bit more embellishment to it.

Also I am having a 30th birthday giveaway, if you would like to be in with a chance of winning, you can find all the details here.

One Layer Wednesday 126

Good Morning,

The challenge over with Susan at Simplicity is to create a one layer card using a neglected colour. Now I knew straight away what colour what was for me......browns! They just don't seem to work well with me.
But I recently got this owl stamp, so though it would be perfect to use brown on.

Supplies Used:
Inkadinkado - Sleepy Owl
Stampin up - Sentiment
Versamark
Embossing Powder
Derwent Colour Soft Pencils

Still no sure if I really like using 'browns' but it was good to ink up a new stamp.

CASology Week 30

Good Evening,

Tonight's card is for this weeks challenge over at CASology, where they have set us a impossible difficult Cue Card of 'Fairytale'.  Neither me nor Hubby have any young kids in our lifes right now so my stamp collection is short on kids stamps.  So I eventually managed to think outside of the box, trust me it took a while!

While rummaging through my stamp box I came across my shoe set, which got my thinking about Cinderella and her glass slipper.  So a bit of googling and I found the perfect sentiment. Done!

Supplies Used:
Hero Arts - High Heels
Sentiment - Computer Generated
ProMarkers
Glossy Accents

Right now its time to put my feet up and watch telly.

Have a nice evening & thanks for visiting

Muse Challenge #3

Good Afternoon,

Well I am finally beginning to feel back to my normal self, so much so, I managed to find time to create a card for this weeks Muse Card Club challenge.

Firstly though I would like to thank everybody that voted for my card last week to be a featured member, I am truly very honoured.

Now onto this weeks card

Supplies Used:
MFT - Loopy Bloom Die
Penny Black Stamp
Stampin Up - Sentiment
Nestabilities

This is the inspiration card by the fabulous Laurie Wilson.  I have chosen the felt flower and the yellow as my inspiration.  When I first started I thought my finished card would have been closer to Lauries, however as it developed I found myself going further and further away from it.

I am off now to see what everybody else has created from this fabulous card.

Also I am having a birthday giveaway, if you are interested in entering, you can find the details here.

Still Ill

Yes, thats right, I am still in bed feeling sorry for myself.  However I am enjoying catching up with everybody's blogs in between naps!

Since I have nothing new to share with you, I thought I would share a card I made for a challenge the other week but was too late to submit.

Supplies Used:
Unity Stamp Co - Hearts Stamps
Avery Elle - Lots of Love Sentiment
Bakers Twine from stash
Stampin Up - Dazzling Details - Cherry Cobbler

Onto some good news now, my card that I entered in last weeks Muse Card Club was voted one of the 'Featured Members' so thank you so much to everybody that voted for me.  You can see the card here.

Also another one of my cards was selected as 'a cut above' with the Paper Players and a Contender with CAS-ual Fridays, again thank you for selecting my card, you can see that one here.

Finally just to remind you that I am having a wee giveaway to help celebrate my 30th birthday, if you would like to be in with a chance of winning.  Please click this link.

Warm Wishes

Good Morning,

First off lets wish the girls at Less Is More a very happy 2nd birthday of their challenge blog.  Less Is More is one of my favourite challenges, being the first one I ever entered, and I rarely miss a chance to join in.  So Thanks Chrissie, Mandi & Jen for all your hard work.

The challenge over at Less Is More is Kraft & Kreme.  As soon as I read that it reminded me of coffee straight away.  And thankfully, for a change, I knew I had a stamp set that would work for that.

Supplies Used:
Clearly Besotted - Warm Wishes
Stampin Up - Bitty Banners Framelits
Corner Chomper

Quick post from me this morning, as I am going out to a local hotel for a 'Girls Night In', so a spa treatment, drinks, nibbles and great company is in store for me today.
