Happy New Year

Happy New Year Everybody,

I hope you all have had a good New Year, I was away celebrating Hogmanay in Edinburgh, so had to take another short from my blog. However all the festivities are over so normal service shall resume.

I always find that when I take from crafting it takes a while to find my mojo again, the quickest way for me to get back into the groove is to go back to basics and don't attempt anything too complex. So here is my card for today.

Sorry the picture doesn't show the shimmer and splatter too well
Supplies Used:
Uniko Studio - All Occasion Sentiments #2
Clearly Besotted - Going Places
Stampin Up - Smooch Spritz - Gold

Challenges Entered:
One Layer Simplicity Challenge - Restocking the Shelves - I am running low on just generic birthday cardxs, so I now have one more to add to the pile.

Thanks for visiting

  1. Happy New Year! As much as I love the festive season, it's nice to get back into the swing of normality and everyday life! Like you my mojo has been weighed down with the turkey and ALL the trimmings I seem to have consumed! Lol! Looking forward to seeing more of your creations this year, such as this CAS perfect card you've shared today. Hugs Bev x

  3. I agree about going back to basics. However, you have taken it up a notch with that fabulous misting. Very fun birthday card and fabulous way to start off the new year.

  4. What a fabulously CAS card!!! Whenever I use spritz, I get ugly blobs...your spritz is perfect! And I love how you let the sentiment stand without embellishment beyond the shiny spritz. VERY CAS, and so perfect for the challenge!!!

Thanks for playing along with the OLS Challenge, Gillian!
