A really simple card from me this week thought, my mojo just wasn't flowing last night when I tried to come up with something.

3-2-1

Good Morning,

Time for another challenge over at Less Is More and this week it is 3-2-1. So we need to incorporate 3 of something, 2 of something and 1 of something else.

My 3 of something is the 3 colours of ProMarkers I used to shade the background.  2 is the sizzix butterflies and 1 is the memory box die or the music stamp I used.

Had a bit of change of plan for today, the weather is horrendous so have changed our minds about heading into town to do some shopping, so going to spend the day crafting instead!

Hope you have a nice weekend

Little Leaves

Good Morning,

Well that is the school holidays over here in Scotland, so the roads are back to being crazy and no doubt the weather will take a turn for the better!

I got quite a bit of crafting done yesterday, so I have a few cards to share with you over the next few days.

Sorry the picture is not the best, the sentiment is a lot of darker IRL.

Supplies Used:
Pink Petticoat - Autumn Blossoms
Pink Petticoat - Woodgrain (in the new colour 'Sweet Apricot')
Funky Hand Sentiment
Ribbon from my stash

Challenges Entered:
Less Is More - Week 81 Tearing
The Ribbon Girl Blog - Colour Challenge Nr 22

Less Is More Week 81

Good Morning,

First off let me apologise for my lack of attention to my blog, normal life is taking over a bit too much at the moment.

A bit later than usual for me, but I finally got my Less Is More card made last night, this weeks challenge is 'Tearing'.  Not something that I usually do with my cards but have given it a try.

Supplies Used:
Stampin Up image
ProMarkers
Glossy Accents
Martha Stewart Punch
Sweet Wishes Paper
Ribbon and brads from my stash

It is my best friends birthday coming up this week, so on Saturday a group of us girls headed down to the races.  Luckily the weather was gorgeous and everybody had a great day.  I thought I would show you all a picture of all the girlies before we headed off.  I only won on one race and when I went to claim my winnings I couldn't find my ticket! Just my luck.

School

First off I would like to thank the girls over at CASology for choosing my 'Pond' card for an honourable mention.  You can see the card here if you haven't seen it before.

Now onto this weeks challenge, this week the Cue Card is 'School'.  Now last week I said you were going to have to think outside of the box for Pond and I'm afriad this week is the same.  The CASology girls sure like to challenge me, I am hoping next weeks Cue Card is something that I have a stamp for. However here is what I ended up coming up with.

Apologises for the poor photo, all the daylight had gone by the time I had finished my card.

I hope you can get the inspiration for my card, I am not sure what teachers write on pupils work nowadays but this is what I imagine they write.

I can't list the supplies I used as I used my computer for the writing and just matted it on red card stock.

Time for me to close down the computer.

Just Beautiful

Good Afternoon,

Sorry for the lack of posts this weekend, we have been away visiting the in-laws.  Since it was such a nice day yesterday we took a trip across to the West Coast of Scotland to a place called 'Applecross'.  The road there is amazing if not a little bit scary but the scenery more than makes up for it.  We really are very lucky to live in such a beautiful country. I thought I would share a couple of photos from our trip.

Got down to making my weekly Less Is More card when I got home this afternoon, and the theme this week is 'Fur or Feathers'.

The image stamps are from a See D's set but I am not sure of the name and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up.

Away to make a start on the tea and later on watch the closing ceremony of the Olympics.

'Pond'

Good Evening,

With tonight's card you might need to think outside the box .  This week the cue card over at CASology is 'Pond'.  Now I don't have anything in my craft stash that makes you instantly think of a pond so I went with colours instead.

To create my 'pond' colours in the back ground I used 4 shades of ProMarkers blended together.  I used my Memory Box die to represent vegetation round a pond.  I told you to think outside the box!

Might have another bash at this challenge during the week if I think of something better but this will need to do for the moment.  I got some new Waltzing Mouse stamps in the post today, so off to have a play about with them.

Just Bee...cause

Good Afternoon,

What a nice sunny day we have here in Aberdeenshire.  It is so nice to see it back again.  I have to admit my crafting has taken a bit of a back seat as I totally addicted to the Olympics.  But I found time today to make a quick card for this weeks challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays and this week our cards have to feature something you would see in the sky.

Supplies Used:
Pink Petticoat Image and Sentiment
ProMarkers
Stickles

I am also entering this card into Di's Crafty Workshop Snippet Challenge.

Going to dash off now, have a quick catch up on the sports and maybe sit in the garden for a little bit.
