Love & Sympathy

Good Morning,

Apologies for the lack of cards over the weekend, I had a trip down to Glasgow for the Hobbycrafts Craft Fayre.  Wow that place was busy, and my fellow crafters can be brutal.  It was worse than the January sales for all the pushing and shoving! However I was a very good girl and only spent my allocated budget for the day.

Anyway back onto my card for today,
Which is based on this sketch,
Hopefully my graduated colours comply with the sketch

Supplies Used:
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Ink Dusters
Stampin Up sentiment and image
Versamark
Wow embossing powder

Challenges Entered:
Less Is More
CAS-ual Fridays
Pixies Crafty Snippets Week 44

I think on hindsight, I would have used white embossing powder for the image and sentiment, but as they say 'you live and learn'.

Thanks for visiting
x

  2. Oh dear, you sound quite battered Gillian! Love your graduated inky strip and I rather like the image and sentiment in black! Vicky x

  3. I like your idea for splitting the strip, the graduated colours are lovely. I think it would work either way in black or white. Oh me sounds like it was a crush! x

  8. I love your choice of colours. You should make another with white embossing to get it out of your system. (I speak from experience)
This is the first time in years that I have missed the SECC. Having withdrawal symptoms!!
