Happy Belated Birthday Ardyth!

Good Morning,

I am dropping in past this morning with a belated birthday card for the super talented Ardyth!  Yesterday was a day when I just didn't have a spare 5 minutes so I wasn't able to join in with the Birthday Party thrown by Darnell.  However I wasn't going to miss out on the fun and wishing Ardyth a happy birthday so here I am.  Darnell has asked us all to make a card inspried by Ardyth, so I have used the rainbow colours that she loves and gone with a graphic card.  By luck it was Ardyth's turn to host One Layer Wednesday and it was to create a card that she would like, so I am hoping Ardyth that you like this one.

Supplies Used:
Avery Elle - Celebrate

CASology - Furry

Good Afternoon,

Before I share my second card of the day, I would like to thank the girls over at CASology for choosing my 'Royal' card for an Honourable Mention.

Now onto this week's challenge, which is 'Furry' the obvious choice would be to make a card featuring an animal, however I have done a couple of those over the past couple of weeks so I decided to do something different.

Supplies Used:
My Favourite Things - High Rise Alphabet Dies
Fabric from my fabric box

I hope my fabric counts as Furry otherwise I will need to go back to the drawing board!

Less Is More - Week 121

Good Afternoon,

We have finally woken up to blue skies and sunshine today, but before I dash back out again to enjoy the weather I am quickly posting my card for this weeks Less Is More challenge.

When I seen that Chrissie and Jen had set us the challenge of 'Humour' my heart sank a little, just the other week I was speaking to Aileen of Stamp Up Your Craft about how I am not good at those cards.  However I had a rummage through my DigiStamps and found this image which would work for Humour.

Supplies Used:
Whimsie Doodles - Martini Dog
ProMarkers
Glossy Accents

Right thats me off to enjoy the sunshine, hope you are all getting the nice weather as well.

Paperie Designs Studio

Good Evening,

Back again today to send a special thank you Paperie Designs Studio and especially Deepti for featuring me over on their blog today.  It was really lovely to sit down and think a bit more about why I craft and my inspiration rather than just 'doing it'. I am not one for talking about myself too much, so if my answers are short and to the point, then that is exactly what I am like in real life!  If you would like to read a little bit about me you can find the feature here.

And I also got a badge to display with pride on my blog!

So thanks again Paperie Design Studio, thanks to any new visitors and of course to my regular followers who without them would make blogging a lot less special.

More Avery Elle

Good Morning,

I had another play with my new stamps sets from Avery Elle and used their monthly challenge as inspiration!  I am really loving their stamp sets and can't wait to add to my collection.  I ordered my latest stamps set direct from America and even with the extra customs charge it was worth it to get my hands on my new stamps sets.  And as an extra bonus when I opened my parcel I found a little free surprise, so thank you very much Avery Elle!

Supplies Used:
Avery Elle - Celebrate
Avery Elle - The Man

This is the inspiration picture that Avery Elle has provided this month.  I hope its fairly obvious what I used as my inspiration!

If you have ever fancied knowing a little bit more about me, I am very flattered to be featured over at 'Paperie Designs' today.

CASology - Royal

Good Morning,

This weeks the girls over at CASology have set us a 'real' challenge.  This weeks CUE card is 'Royal'.  I spent quite a while looking through all my stamps for inspiration when I finally remembered that during the 'Golden Jubilee' last year Liz at Pink Petticoat released a Royal inspired freebie!

Apologies for the poor photo, will retake when I get home from work

Hmmmm not sure if I can make my mind up about this card, might be back with a second attempt at this challenge.

Between struggling for time and a lack of mojo I have been struggling with coming up with new cards that I actually like.

Playing Catch Up

Good Morning,

Playing catch up on my blog today, have had a fairly busy week and the most exciting part was the safe arrival of my beautiful baby neice Emily.  So a huge congratulations to my Sister and Brother In Law!

The card I have made this morning is a small gift card to go with a present for Emily and I used the challenge over at One Layer Wednesday as inspiration.  This week's OLW is hosted by Cheryl and the challenge is to make a 3 inch card, which is a perfect gift card size.

Supplies Used:
Stampin Up - Easy Events
ProMarkers

I would also like to that Susan, last week's OLW host, for picking my name as the winner of the Waltzing Mouse Stamp Set.

Off now to catch up on some other challenges.

Wow Embossing Powder
Stampin Up - Bakers Twine

Have to dash off again now, away to head into town as I have a facial booked this afternoon.

Online Card Class - His & Hers Day 5

Good Evening,

Back with my second post of the day, you can see my first one here. In my earlier post I said I would be back with my second card for Day 4 of the His & Hers online card class, however once I had watched all the videos for Day 5 I ended up making those cards instead!

Supplies Used:
Stampin Up - Stripes Stamp
Pink Petticoat Sentiment (top card)
Stampin Up Sentiment (Bottom card)
XCut Nesting dies
VersaMark
Silver Embossing Powder

Apologies for the top card, the picture has washed out the pink stripes, they are a bit darker in real life.

I have really enjoyed this class by Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire, as somebody who really struggles with male cards I have picked lots of good hints and tips.
