Tic Tac Toe

Good Morning,

The monthly challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays is sadly taking a break for the rest of the year, so there was no way I was going to miss out on joining in with their so of last challenge.

It's a game of tic tac toe this month too, so lots of options to choose from for inspiration.  My card kinda falls into two categories, 'black, white, grey' and 'dots, grey, twine'.

I decided to play along in a challenge that I haven't joined in with for a while, The Card Concept. When I first looked at the colours nothing sprung to mind, however with a stroke of luck I bought a stamp set off the wonderful Caryn Davis which fitted the bill perfectly. Well as least I think so.

Make The Day Special Challenge

Over at Make the Day Special they have an interesting challenge on this month. They are asking us to CASE a card from our first year of crafting/blogging.  It was quite a trip down memory lane looking at old cards I have made and some of them are truly awful!

In the end I chose one which I didn't mind so much, but my CASing of it went totally off in a different direction, but hopefully you can see where I got my inspiration.

Singing in the Rain

This week's Less Is More challenge was a real puzzler for me, the theme is 'Singing in the Rain'. And I couldn't think of anything really that would be suitable.  However a little trawl through my stamps helped come up with a few things that I could use to focus on the 'rain' part of the theme.

CAS on Sunday - One Layer Wonder

One Layer Simplicity Challenge - Wave the Flag. We have been asked to use our countries flag as inspiration for our cards.  Since I class myself as both Scottish & British I had two flags to choose from.  I noticed from the gallery there were a number of red, white & blue flags already so I went with the Scottish Saltire as my inspiration.  I used the blue & white as my inspiration however rather than a flat blue I decided to create a ombre effect.  Wow that was a long explanation!

CASology - Week 104 - Pet

Good Afternoon,

I think we stumped quite a few of you with last week's Cue Card at CASology.  You will be glad to here that this week's is much much easier, this week the Cue Card is 'Pet', see super easy!  My first pet was a goldfish, but since I don't have a goldfish stamp I went with my second pet which was a rabbit.

Dainty Dollies

Good Afternoon,
