This week's challenge at Less Is More is to make a one layer card featuring witches or wizards. Simple right? Wrong! This card has taken me so many attempts and it should have been a fairly straight foreward card, but with every attempt I would make a stupid mistake and ruin it. Finally I finished a card error free.
Supplies Used:
Floppy Latte Designs - Flying Witch Digi Stamp
Computer Generated Sentiment
Ink Dusters

I love the witch silhouette and the purple tones, great card Gillian. I can't take part in this one. I have no stamps remotely suitable and can't download a digi as my printer doesn't take card. New printer is going on my Christmas list right now! :) x
ReplyDeleteEek, I love it! You've inspired me to grab my WMS Halloween sets - there's a great witchy silhouette in there!! TFS!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card, love the dusting of purple & wouldn't have guessed it was a digital based card. Hugs Bev x
ReplyDeleteI love how you used the negative to indicate the moonglow.
ReplyDeleteFab card Gillian!
Thanks so much

I love your card! It turned out fabulous! I can relate though, the simpler they are, the harder they are for me to do.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fab silhouette, and I love how you shaded around the moon! Awesome one layer card, Gillian!

Fab card, the moon looks amazing! Isn't it funny how the simple cards always take so long to make! Probably because there's no way to disguise mistakes, so it's back to square one! :))

And that would be why I avoid one layer cards - one silly slip and the whole card is ruined!! I'm so glad you kept going - there is amazing "dimension" on your one layer card!
ReplyDeleteThis is brilliant! I really like the way you've shaded the sky! Super image too!
ReplyDeleteStunning card!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Gillian well worth all the earlier 'errors' too lol :) Viv xx
