Good Afternoon,
This week's cue card at CASology is 'Graduation' and can you believe that out of the hundreds of stamp sets I owe I don't have any that feature a 'graduation' theme! I did consider doing a graduation of colours but in the end I used a black and white colour theme and words that you would use for graduation. Remember it's what graduation means to you that we want to see.
Supplies Used:
Stampin Up - Making Spirits Bright
Clearly Besotted - Full of Surprise
Wink of Stella
Hand drawn border
And for more inspiration make sure you visit the Design Team.

Great card, Gillian!
ReplyDeleteI think this is a super Graduation card! I love the simplicity of the design! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity of this - the line images just simply stamped - beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAs your child is a newborn, don't worry that you don't have graduation stamps yet. You've got time! Probably until his preschool graduation--if they have things like that where you are. We've got them here, and it is as ridiculous and adorable as you might think. Those celebratory glasses of bubbly make a fantastic focal point, and I like your hand drawn border.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Gillian! The image and sentiment works perfectly for a graduation theme :)
ReplyDeleteHey Gillian!! Cheers is right! Graduations are about overcoming the hard work which deserves some bubbles!! Great card.
ReplyDeleteGillian, your CAS creations are always a pleasure to come visit!!!!!! Love it!
ReplyDeletePerfect take on graduation Gillian - I don't think I have anything resembling graduation in my stash either...!

ReplyDeleteI think this is fun and such a great idea - a toast is surely called for when something as great as graduation is achieved!! Excellent styling and just very awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI love your whimsical hand-drawn border! Looks fabulous with the chink-chink of those champagne flutes. Brilliant graduation card. Certainly didn't need anything else in your stash!
ReplyDeleteA clever direction to go and I'm sure there are plenty of graduates imbibing in some bubbly! :) A graduation of colour is a brilliant idea too!
ReplyDeleteI love the champagne glasses and your B&W color palette is perfect, Gillian! Such a fun graduation card!
