I did promise to show you something different from me today and minus the hedgehogs!
I had left over acetate from my clear stamp storage and fancied trying to use it in a card.
I used the challenges in both Less Is More and Cas-ual Friday as the starting point for my card.
Chrissie & Mandi over at Less is More have challenged us LIMettes to create a card featuring a hole or an aperture (hopefully filling the hole with acetate is within the rules!) and qver at CAS-ual Friday the only colours we are able to use are black and white.
The butterfly stamp on the card is from Hobbycraft and the border stamp is from Papermania.

love your card - clever take on the LiM theme
ReplyDeleteI love acetate, and you used it so well also tricky getting a photo but I see you managed very well. I love your butterfly stamps just perfect.

You 'cut it out', even if you did fill the gap with acetate, so that's qualified for this challenge... and you made an attractive card too!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Gillian.

Lovely card Gillian
ReplyDeleteSeeing lots of butterflies this week, they seem to work well with an aperture.
Thanks so much

"Less is More"
Oooer, really clever idea - and a lovely result!
ReplyDeleteAm going to have to scout round your blog in case you showed using the acetate for stamp storage as that's the route I'm seriously thinking of going down. Can't find what I want without digging through boxes here like a dog looking for a bone at the moment :)

Super use of acetate. Love the butterflies on it. They go well with the sentiment. x
