Merry Monday # 75

Good Morning,

So far this year I have resisted making Christmas cards, it just felt too early.  Then when I eventually sat down to plan how many cards I have to make I had a bit of a panic.  I am very lucky that I am able to sell my cards in a local shop so not only do I have to make for friends and family I have to make stock for the shop.  So after my large wake up call I have finally made a start.  Thankfully there is quite a few Christmas challenges out there to provide some much needed inspiration and the one I used for my card today is Merry Monday over at Always Playing With Paper.  The challenge this week was to use Dark brown, red, vanilla and champagne or gold with some shimmer.  Hopefully I have ticked all the boxes with this card.

Supplies Used:
Stampin Up - Welcome Christmas
Ribbon and Sparkles from my stash
Computer generated sentiment
VersaMark
Wow Embossing Powder - Gold Sparkle

Thanks for visiting

  1. Ooh, I love this CAS vintage look! ThIs card is beautiful and your parents are going to love it :) from experience, I have found that it is never too early to start on Christmas cards...I was on a bit of a roll in January just after the festive season and made a few then. I can honestly say that I'm very glad I did!!! Good luck! :)

And I'm with you - I've only just started with the Christmas cards. It's hard to get in the Christmas mood when I'm sweating my butt off in the summer!
